KAKA Community Learning Center runs various programs for community empowerment
Basic literacy classes for adults and out-of-school youth in Nepali and Bajjika languages.
Under this program, basic literacy is provided to adult women and men in Nepali and Bajjika languages. Literacy classes are conducted regularly.
Vocational training including sewing, beauty parlor, and other income-generating skills.
Skill development training includes sewing, beauty parlor, handicrafts and other income-generating skills. These trainings help women become economically empowered.
Merit-cum-poverty scholarships and KAKA Forever Rewards for deserving students.
Provided NRs. 1,00,000 to Ramsakhi Mohit Singh Janta Secondary School for upgrading higher level classes (2006)
Provided NRs. 5,000 per month scholarship to Osi Mohammad in Classes 11 and 12 (2015-2017)
Covered full educational expenditures of student Bikash Singh for B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Kathmandu University (2014-2018)
Distribution of cash and teaching materials worth NRs. 15,000 among students who ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in classes I to X at Ramsakhi Mohit Singh Janta Secondary School
Preservation and promotion of Bajjika language and local cultural heritage.
Bajjika is one of the official languages in Madhesh Province. This center has collaborated with Language Commission Nepal to prepare the History, Dictionary and Grammar of Bajjika Language.
